AN ADAM DESK LAMP

The baluster-style central column terminates in an
intricately designed base with acanthus leaf and scroll
motifs. The equally intricate bronze lampshade is octagonal
in shape and has openwork designs in the Adam pattern.

Active from 1878 to 1933, Tiffany Studios was founded by
Louis Comfort Tiffany and went on to become renowned
for its myriad exemplary creations including Tiffany lamps,
stained glass windows and other luxury items.
