The artist’s signature motif lies in the depiction of
the head form, an essential element throughout
his body of work. He magnifies the female figure,
endowing it with larger-than-life proportions,
adorned with golden hues and piercing,
penetrating eyes. Through his sculptures, he
not only captures the essence of the present
but also offers glimpses into the future,
infusing his creations with prophetic visions.
One encounters a life-size sculpture that captivates
and engages the viewer, exuding emotions
through its elongated eyes and facial contours.
This artwork possesses a profound immediacy,
evoking a sense of timelessness while conveying
a spectrum of emotions and layers of meaning.
Through the recurring motif of the head, the artist
intertwines the passage of time with the narratives
of indigenous peoples who have traversed
through it. Drawing inspiration from civilizations
like the Egyptians and the ancient Greeks, he
employs elements of extreme simplification and a
frontal perspective, seamlessly weaving together
disparate cultural influences.
