Sheila Makhijani’s works are an intense
 display of movement, wherein she
uses lines that diverge and converge,
 and spread horizontally, vertically and
diagonally. She excels in using vividly
coloured planes to create dimension in
her works. These light coloured and dark
surfaces seem to surpass the canvas
 itself, making the works emotionally
 resonant. Her creations feature intricate
textures, and invite viewers to delve into
the layers of meaning within her pieces.
 The investigation of abstraction and
shape lend to the unique and nuanced
 take on her intricate geometry.
