In 1813, Daniell decided to undertake
‘A Voyage Round Great Britain’ what
was to be his greatest artistic work. He
planned to journey around the whole
Lot No. 3 coast and record views of places of
WILLIAM DANIELL interest. An integral part of the venture
1769-1837 was to provide a running commentary,
which described the scenery and the
ROCKY LANDSCAPE NEAR TUNBRIDGE WELLS conditions of the people. Daniell had
