The wood sculpture depicts a seated Guanyin in Decorated in Famille-Rose, which suggests a
ornate detail. The Goddess of Mercy, Guanyin is predominantly pink colour overglaze enamel. With
also called Kannon in Japanese mythology and multiple panels in rose-medallion design, the high
Avalokiteshvara in Buddhism. shoulder has a band of floral and Greek key designs.
