TABRIZ WOOL CARPET
The carpet features woolen hues
of Capri and Deep Navy, and it is a
masterpiece that reminds one of
a fine ‘mosque dome’ carpet that
dates back to the mid 20th century.
The design of this carpet is intricate
and captivating. It takes one to the
center of a grand mosque, where
they can gaze upward at the ornate
ceiling embellishments within a vast
central dome. The design portrays
the mosque’s walls surrounding
the central ‘starburst’ medallion,
enclosed within a scalloped blue
circle. The border is similarly
decorated in red, peach and mauve.
