                                                                                       A LARGE IMARI VASE

                                                                            This impressive Imari vase is characterised by
                                                                           its tall, slender neck and bulbous base. The vase
                                                                              showcases intricate and vibrant decorations
                                                                         predominantly in traditional Imari colours of cobalt
                                                                         blue, iron-red, and gilt accents on a white porcelain
                                                                        body. The design features elaborate floral and foliate
                                                                                      patterns, interspersed with other
                                                                                              decorative elements.
                                                                        Originating in the Japanese town of Arita in the 17th
                                                                        century, Imari ware inherited its name from the port
                                                                            of Imari used to ship these objects to the West.

 AN ANGLO-INDIAN ROSEWOOD TABLE
 WITH SIX CHAIRS

 Crafted with rosewood, the set consists of an Anglo-Indian
 oval table with six matching chairs. Each chair features
 decorative motifs throughout the carved backrest. The table
 features vine leaf carvings on the apron and rests on three
 elaborately designed feet.
