               AN ENGLISH HALLMARK SALVER
               by John Edward Terry, London

               An elegant English hallmark salver, crafted with a finely
               chiselled base adorned in relief with delicate flowering
               racemes. At its centre lies an inscription dedicated to Reverend
               I. Vaneam, presented by the community of St. George,
               Camberwell, in 1832. The rim is intricately decorated in relief,
               featuring a harmonious motif of leaves, trailing vines, and
               acorns. The salver stands on four stylised feet.
