 The quarterly journal Rupam was established in 1920 by the Indian
 Society of Oriental Art to showcase and celebrate the artistic
 traditions of Asia, with a special focus on India. The journal played
 a pivotal role in solidifying the Bengal School’s position within the
 Modernist and Revivalist art movements in the country.

 Binding: The volumes are bound in sturdy green cloth with gilt-
 stamped spines indicating the title and numbering. The bindings
 feature a clean, institutional style with neatly trimmed edges.
