               This impressive set of 67 volumes of ‘Marg’
               magazine offers a comprehensive and invaluable
               collection of one of India’s most influential art and
               architecture journals. Founded in 1946 by novelist
               and activist Mulk Raj Anand, alongside a group of
               prominent artists, art historians, and architects,
               Marg was established at a pivotal moment in India’s
               history, just before its independence. Under Anand’s
               editorial leadership, with assistance from Anil
               de Silva and art advisor Karl Khandalavala, Marg
               quickly became a cornerstone of scholarly discourse
               in the visual arts.
               The volumes are bound in half-leather with polished
               tan spines and corners, complemented by marbled
               paper-covered boards. The spines feature raised
               bands, gilt lettering, and small decorative motifs.
