 The  presented  lot  reflects
 Rabindranath Tagore’s fascination
 with capturing facial expressions,
 showcasing a remarkable sense
 of fantasy, rhythm, and vitality.
 Tagore embraced creative freedom
 in his technique, resulting in a
 diverse array of imagery, including
 fantastical beasts, masks, human
 faces, landscapes, flowers, birds,
 and trees.

 Human  figures  in  Tagore’s works
 are  portrayed either  as  individuals
 with expressive gestures or in
 groups, often in theatrical settings.
 In his portraits from the 1930s,
